My Project
Gathered Items for Deseret Industries Thrift Store
One of the problems in Utah is that there are too many people who can't afford to pay for some of the simple things that most people have in their homes. To help solve this, I went around asking relatives and neighbors if they had anything they didn't need that I could take to Deseret Industries.
“I just needed to work, so I came here, and it’s been more amazing than I could have imagined,”

"We have always been blessed with a lot. I like to donate to the DI because when I do, I feel like our junk becomes someone else's treasure and it helps them."

Ten dollars went toward gas to drive to neighbors homes, drive to West Valley to pick up items from family, as well as going to the American Fork Deseret Industries to donate the gathered items.
